PolyglotNews

We certainly are earning our frequent flyer points here at Polyglot. Our massive interactive performance The Big Game played nine enormous shows to overflowing houses at the Singapore Arts Festival, with thousands of people crowding onto the balconies overlooking the performance space in order to secure a birds’ eye view. The Toa Payoh HDB Hub was a perfect setting for the work, transforming this urban public space into a fascinating imagined world of art, games and constant surprise.

There’s so much exciting news we’re bursting to tell you all… but we like to keep a few tricks up our sleeves. Needless to say we’ll be jetting off to some other really exciting places in the coming months… watch this space!

Earlier this month we asked for donations for our new show City of Riddles, premiering in 2010 . Thanks to those who responded, and if you are still considering it, Polyglot is appealing to you to dig deep into your pockets as the end of financial year is now looming. All donations above $2 are tax deductible. You can make a secure donation online, or download our donations form if you prefer to post.  We do need your help.

Polyglot's Artistic Director Sue Giles has also been busy serving as Puppetry Consultant on the hit musical Avenue Q which opened on 4 June - see below for a special ticket offer.  Keep reading also for a heads-up on Polyglot's upcoming shows, and keep your eyes peeled for up-to-date news of Polyglot’s theatrical adventures coming to you soon.
